1. Who we are

Miilex Construction Corp operates this website under the business name Miilex Chemicals and is located at Unit 4, 21 Goodrich Road, Etobicoke, Ontario M8Z 6A3, Canada. In this policy, “Miilex,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to Miilex Construction Corp operating as Miilex Chemicals.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact and identity information, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number and billing or shipping address.
• Enquiry and transaction information, such as products, package sizes, requested quantities, messages, quotations, order details, delivery information and customer-service history.
• Amazon order information, when our private Amazon seller integration is active and authorized, such as Amazon order identifiers, purchased items, quantities, order status and the recipient information needed to fulfil a seller-fulfilled order.
• Account information, such as account credentials and saved preferences. Passwords are stored in protected form and should never be sent to us by email or through an enquiry message.
• Technical information, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, security events and essential website-cookie identifiers.
• Communications, including emails, telephone notes and information you choose to provide in our contact or business-enquiry forms.
• Email subscription information, including the address submitted for product and store updates and its current subscription status.

Please provide only the information needed for your enquiry or transaction. Do not submit health information, government identification numbers, payment-card details or other sensitive information through a general enquiry form.

3. How we use information

We use personal information for reasonable business purposes, including to:

• respond to enquiries and provide product, availability, quotation and customer-support information;
• create and administer customer accounts;
• process, fulfil and document orders and deliveries when ordering is available;
• retrieve and manage orders from our own Amazon seller account and complete seller-fulfilled deliveries;
• communicate about an enquiry, order, service issue or policy update;
• send product and store updates when you subscribe to receive them;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and our business systems;
• prevent misuse, fraud and security incidents; and
• meet accounting, tax, recordkeeping and other legal obligations.

We will seek consent for a materially different purpose unless the use or disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law.

4. Amazon seller orders

Miilex uses a private Amazon Selling Partner API integration only for our own Amazon seller account. When that integration is active and authorized, we may receive an order number, purchased products, quantities, fulfilment status and, for a seller-fulfilled order, the recipient name, delivery address, telephone number or Amazon-provided relay email needed to complete and support the delivery.

We use Amazon order information only to review and process the order, prepare the shipment, obtain a shipping label, deliver and track the package, communicate about fulfilment or delivery, handle returns or refunds, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Amazon recipient information is not used for advertising, unrelated marketing, customer profiling, resale, catalogue content generation or artificial-intelligence training.

Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) provides the cloud infrastructure used to host the Miilex website, Magento application and database. Amazon order information used by our private seller integration is stored and processed within this controlled AWS-hosted environment. AWS provides infrastructure services on our behalf and is not authorized by Miilex to use the information for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

For a Canada Post shipment, only the recipient name, delivery address, contact information and shipment details required for the delivery are transmitted through a secure API connection to Canada Post for label creation, delivery, tracking and shipment support. We do not give Canada Post access to our Amazon seller account or disclose unrelated Amazon order information.

Access to Amazon recipient information is limited to authorized personnel and systems that require it for fulfilment or support. We protect it in transit and at rest, do not place it in application logs, and monitor access and security events. Restricted Amazon recipient information is deleted securely no later than 30 days after delivery unless a longer period is required by law. If our Amazon authorization ends, restricted Amazon recipient information is securely deleted within 30 days, subject only to a legal retention requirement. Records that must be retained for accounting, tax, dispute or legal purposes are minimized and kept only for the required period.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us operate the business. Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) supplies the cloud infrastructure that hosts our website, application and database. Other provider categories may include email delivery, information technology and professional advisers. These providers are expected to process information only for the services they provide to Miilex.

For seller-fulfilled Amazon orders shipped by Canada Post, we provide Canada Post only the recipient and shipment information needed to create the label, deliver and track the shipment, and provide shipment support. Canada Post does not receive access to our Amazon seller account or unrelated Amazon order information.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful process, to protect Miilex, our customers or others, or as part of a business transaction where appropriate safeguards apply.

6. Processing outside Canada

Some service providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information handled in another country may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement bodies or regulators under that country’s laws. Contact us if you would like more information about our service-provider arrangements.

7. Cookies and website technology

Our Magento storefront uses cookies and similar local-storage technology needed for functions such as session security, shopping-cart continuity, account access, form protection and site preferences. Blocking required cookies may prevent parts of the website from working correctly.

We do not use information collected through essential storefront technology to sell personal profiles. If we introduce non-essential advertising or analytics technology, we will update this notice and provide any consent choices required by applicable law.

8. Payment information

The storefront currently offers Interac e-Transfer instructions and directs customers to the Miilex business email address shown at checkout. Orders remain Pending until Miilex confirms receipt and acceptance. Do not send payment-card details through email or a general enquiry form.

9. Retention and safeguards

Business-enquiry records are retained indefinitely for customer-service and business-history purposes unless Miilex decides to delete them or applicable law requires deletion. Restricted Amazon recipient information follows the shorter deletion periods stated in the Amazon seller orders section above. Other personal information is kept as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, to resolve disputes and to meet legal, accounting and recordkeeping obligations.

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please contact us promptly if you believe your interaction with Miilex has been affected by a security incident.

10. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, request its deletion, or ask us to restrict or stop its processing or sharing where these rights apply. You may also withdraw consent where applicable or raise a question or complaint about our privacy practices. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may need to be retained or withheld where permitted or required by law.

You may opt out of promotional email using the instructions in the message or by contacting us. Service messages relating to an active enquiry, account or order are not promotional messages.

11. Children’s privacy

This storefront is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the website.

12. External links

Our website may link to services operated by other organizations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and Miilex is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external websites.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted here with its effective date. Material changes will be highlighted when appropriate.
